If you refer toeach thing oreach person in a group, you are referring to every member of the group and considering them as individuals.
e.g. each book is beautifully illustrated...

2.每个;每一
If you refer toeach one of the members of a group, you are emphasizing that something applies to every one of them.
e.g. He picked up forty of these publications and readeach one of them.

You can refer toeach and every memberof a group to emphasize that you mean all the members of that group.
e.g. each and every person responsible for his murder will be brought to justice...
